Role OverviewThe area sales executive will drive primary and secondary sales of DACS consumer electronics (TVs, Washing Machines, Air Conditioners & Soundbars) in the assigned territory. The role includes dealer development, distributor management, retail execution, local marketing, and achieving month-on-month sales targets.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Sales & Revenue Achievement- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory. - Ensure both primary (distributor) and secondary (retailer) sales growth. - Drive product-wise sales—TVs, ACs, Washing Machines, Soundbars.B. Distribution & Dealer Network Expansion- Appoint new distributors in high-potential towns. - Recruit new retailers and increase DACS visibility in key markets. - Ensure timely stock availability across channels.C. Retail Execution & Market Activities- Ensure proper display, pricing boards, POP materials, and branding in stores. - Regular market visits (minimum 18–20 days/month). - Conduct retailer meets, van campaigns, and promotional activities.D. Relationship Management- Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and influencers. - Ensure smooth claim settlements, price control, and market hygiene. - Resolve dealer issues quickly.E. Competition Analysis- Track competitor pricing, schemes, and product launches. - Share weekly market insights with ASM/RSM.F. Reporting & Data Management- Maintain daily sales reports (DSR), stock reports, and beat plans. - Provide weekly and monthly business MIS to management. - Monitor distributor claims, credit limits, and outstanding payments.3. Candidate RequirementsEducation- Graduate / MBA preferred.Experience- 2–6 years of experience in consumer electronics (TV/AC/Washing Machines) industry. - Strong dealer–distributor network understanding.Skills- Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Good knowledge of local market geography. - Basic Excel and reporting skills. - Ability to travel extensively.Personality Traits- Self-driven and target-oriented. - Smart communication. - Strong relationship-building ability. - Problem-solving mindset.4.
