The Service Engineer will be responsible for conducting on-site installations, maintenance, and repair of equipment. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support to clients, and ensuring equipment operates at optimal efficiency through regular inspections and maintenance. The candidate will frequently engage with clients to understand and resolve technical problems while ensuring customer satisfaction.Qualifications- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues independently. - Experience in Field Service operations and on-site technical support. - Effective Communication skills for client interaction and issue resolution. - Knowledge and hands-on experience with Maintenance & Repair of equipment and systems. - Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. - Relevant technical certifications or a degree in engineering or a related field is preferred. - Job Description (JD) – Service EngineerInstall, maintain, and repair company equipment and systems (e.g., pumps, machinery, water treatment systems, or relevant industry equipment).Attend service calls and resolve breakdowns within defined SLAs.Conduct preventive maintenance and routine checks to ensure smooth operation.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.Maintain service records, job sheets, and customer feedback reports.Train customers/operators on proper usage and care of equipment.Ensure adherence to company’s quality, safety, and compliance standards.Provide feedback to the design/production team for product improvement.Support sales/service team with technical demonstrations and customer visits.Job Specification (JS) – Service EngineerEducation: ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation (depending on company industry).Experience: 1–5 years in equipment servicing/maintenance (freshers with ITI/Diploma can also be considered).Technical Skills:Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systemsAbility to read technical drawings/manualsBasic knowledge of troubleshooting tools and diagnostic equipmentSoft Skills:Good communication and customer handling skillsProblem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to work independently and under pressureOther Requirements:Willingness to travel frequentlyFlexibility to work on-site or at client locations
