This role partners closely with Product, Sales, Supply Chain, and Leadership to drive sustainable growth, margin leadership, and disciplined capital deployment.This is a strategic finance seat with end-to-end ownership — from 0→1 product launches to 1→10 scale-up phases.5–7 Year Vision for the RoleThe successful BizFin Lead will:·Shape and execute the financial roadmap that positions Hardline brands as market leaders across Asia.·Translate Opptra’s ecosystem, supply chain, tech, data, and local market depth — into financially sound expansion moves.·Champion AI-led forecasting models to optimize demand planning, pricing, inventory turns, and working capital.·Build resilient financial systems, governance, and scalable processes that support new category launches and regional expansion.·Operate as a strategic business partner, influencing long-term decisions and unlocking profitable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Planning·Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and margin management for Hardline categories.·Drive long-range planning aligned with brand objectives, market expansion goals, and category P&L ambitions.·Build pricing frameworks, product mix strategies, and channel economics to maximize profitability.Operational Finance Leadership·Develop processes that reflect Hardline complexities — longer lead times, high-value inventory, depreciation, warranty provisions, and logistics intensity.·Monitor and optimize COGS, freight, warehousing, after-sales costs, and supply chain efficiency.·Partner with supply chain teams for demand planning, capacity forecasting, and inventory investments.Business Partnering·Collaborate closely with Business, Sales, and Product Heads on new product launches, market entry plans, and regional scaling bets.·Provide scenario-based insights using data, dashboards, and predictive modeling.·Challenge assumptions with a solutions-first mindset, ensuring strong financial discipline across decisions.Governance, Controls & Risk Management·Strengthen financial controls across procurement, working capital, inventory, and capex.·Identify risks early — demand volatility, supply constraints, cost escalations — and drive mitigation plans.·Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks across geographies (India, GCC, SEA).Experience & Skills Required·4–5 years in FP&A, Business Finance, or similar roles within consumer durables / electronics / appliances / hardline categories.·Strong understanding of multi-channel retail, ecommerce, and distribution in Asian markets.·Proven experience supporting new business launches and scaling operations in high-growth environments.·Deep commercial finance capability across pricing, product strategy, margin optimization, and channel economics.·Experience managing BOM costs, freight, warehousing, warranty provisioning, and after-sales economics.·Proficiency in ERP systems, BI tools, forecasting platforms, and AI-driven decisioning frameworks.- Hands-on operator with strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
