Our projects explore deep human emotions, mythology-inspired storytelling, and visually rich character-driven narratives.Role OverviewWe are hiring a 2D Illustrator & Background Artist to create scene-based illustrations for animation and short-form cinematic videos. This role is focused on building environments, story frames, and backgrounds that support animation. You will create 2D animation production assets such as illustrated scenes, layered backgrounds, and story frames used directly in reels and narrative videos.What You’ll Be DoingCreate 2D illustrated backgrounds and environments for animation (interiors, streets, rooms, architectural spaces)Paint scene-based frames that support mood, lighting, depth, and storytellingUse lighting, shadows, and color palettes to define atmosphere in animated scenesCompose shots using camera angles, depth, and visual hierarchy for animation useCollaborate with animators and storyboard artists to ensure illustration consistency across scenesWhat We’re Looking ForStrong skills in 2D digital illustrationComfortable creating backgrounds, environments, and scene illustrationsGood understanding of composition, lighting, and color for animated scenesAbility to deliver production-ready illustration assetsStyle leaning toward grounded, atmospheric environments rather than flat or cartoony artOffice location - Jayanagar 9th block
