Job Summary Serves as a subject matter expert to the Senior Director, Valuation and Environmental Services (SDVES) and Lines of Business for for guidance on environmental policy and Federal/State regulations for the Lines of Business (LOBs). The position will require excellent communication skills with the SDVES and LOB. Job Duties and Responsibilities - Interface with LOBs about Environmental Loan Policy and Environmental Due Diligence, Work with LOB to ensure requests are accurate in RIMS including parcel ID numbers and NAICS codes, and that prior reports are provided - Interface with Environmental Management Company (EMC), Work with LOB and EMC to resolve issues and/or questions - Assists the SDVES directly with communication/responses to Credit Administration, Enterprise Risk Management, Audit, and Regulators upon request of such - Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion. - Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications Minimum Education: - Bachelor's degree Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related field Minimum Experience: - 5 years; 3 years Environmental Risk Management in either a large engineering firm and/or significant industry in a position that provided consulting, oversight and reporting to upper management and or Regulatory Entities. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: - Knowledge of ASTM Standards. - Knowledge of Federal Regulations for Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, CERCLA, RCRA, Asbestos, Lead-Based Paint, Endangered Species, Wetlands, Underground Storage Tanks, and Brownfields.
