JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: BIM Engineer (Electrical) EXPERIENCE: 4 + Years Work Mode: Remote JOB SPECIFICATIONS: • B-Tech / Diploma ( Electrical Engineering ) • Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM360 • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing BIM models for complex projects. • Proven experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate BIM deliverables. • Strong technical skills in 3D modeling, clash detection, and coordination processes. • Knowledge of BIM standards, methodologies, and best practices. • Familiarity with multidisciplinary coordination processes and clash detection procedures. • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with diverse project stakeholders. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Lead the Modelling Team: • Take charge of the modeling team, overseeing their activities and ensuring the timely completion of tasks. • Provide guidance, support, and expertise to team members. 2. Manage and maintain the BIM Model: • Be responsible for the upkeep of the Building Information Model (BIM), ensuring it reflects the most recent design changes. • Regularly update and synchronize the model to incorporate any modifications. 3. Decision-Making in Coordination: • Collaborate with various stakeholders in decision-making related to project specifications, material specifications, adherence to norms, model collaboration, and federation. • Exercise judgment to align project components with established standards and requirements. 4. Detailed Construction Drawings: • Create comprehensive construction drawings that encompass all vital information required for manufacturing and installation. • Specify material types and quantities needed for accurate execution. 5. System Knowledge: • Possess in-depth knowledge of Electrical systems relevant to the project. • Ensure that the BIM model accurately represents the systems incorporated in the design. 6. Quality Control of Model Development: • Implement quality control measures throughout the model development process. • Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of the BIM model. 7. Attend Meetings: • Represent the BIM modeling team in meetings, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or queries. • Collaborate with other project stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. 8. Stay Up to Date on BIM Software and Technologies: • Keep abreast of the latest developments in BIM software and technologies. • Evaluate new tools and methodologies for potential implementation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 9. Manage BIM Server: • Oversee the functioning of the BIM server, ensuring its smooth operation. • Address any technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions in workflows
