As discussed, please see below the Job Description for‘Specialist-US GAAP Reporting’.Experience- 3years CTC upto 15LPA ONLY Locatiion-Pune/RemoteRoles and responsibilities The resource will be responsible for executing the day-to-day activities of the team they are assigned to within the department. The resource is expected to manage their assignments based on prioritization and direction and raise issues as appropriate. The resource will be primarily responsible for Insurance accounting/reinsurance accountingand is expected to work more independently. Activities to be performedMonthly close and related processing and development and preparation of analysis (e.g. account analysis, preparation of journal entries) Preparing and analyzing account reconciliations, and preparing reports for management, stakeholders and regulatory bodies Preparing quarterly/annual statutory financial statements and schedules/exhibits Premium revenue recognitions in accordance with standards and regulatory requirements Accounting for reinsurance transactions, including ceded premiums, recoveries and balance due from reinsurers Financial statement analysis & reporting and preparation of management reporting packages Preparing analytical schedules, analyzing variances, and providing analytical support based on individual review and internal customer requests Sound knowledge of NAIC regulatory filings and statutory notes Expertise indirect state reportingfor U.S. insurance companies Strong ability to handle audit requests and queries with precision and compliance focus SOX compliances and internal audit controls Skilled in interpretingratios, annual reports, and audit reportsfor financial and operational insightsPreferred Qualifications: Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accountancy, Business finance/administration / CPA or CFA candidate preferred. 4-6 years for B2 role Experience working in Insurance/reinsurance accounting area along with basic knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP Proficient in tools like advance MS Excel, dashboards, Word, PowerPoint &MS Access Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Workiva, Workday &Sovos will be added an advantageIf you find this interesting and in line with your career aspirations,kindly revert to this email with your confirmation & updated CV harshita@.
