Job Description: Area Sales Manager Pharmaceutical Company Position: Area Sales Manager (ASM) Locations: Dhanbad , Jharkhand Number of Openings: 2 Experience Required: 5–10 years in pharmaceutical sales Age Limit: 35 – 45 years CTC: 35,000 – 45,000 per month Transfer Policy: Candidates may be transferred from their base location as per company requirements. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development: 2. Achieve sales targets in the assigned territory. 3. Develop and execute sales strategies to enhance market share. 4. Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base. 5. Team Management & Leadership: 6. Supervise, guide, and motivate Medical Representatives (MRs) in the region. 7. Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and field visits. 8. Monitor individual and team performance to ensure sales effectiveness. 9. Customer Relationship Management : - Build strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and distributors. - Address customer queries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. - Organize CMEs (Continuing Medical Education) and promotional events - Market Analysis & Reporting: - Monitor competitor activities and market trends. - Provide timely reports on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback. - Suggest improvements in sales strategies based on field insights. - Coordination with Other Departments: - Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and marketing team. - Ensure timely availability of products by coordinating with supply chain and logistics Qualifications & Skills Required: - Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc. / M.Sc. / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred. - Experience: Minimum 4-6 years in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Skills: - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical sales and market dynamics. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. - Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
