Job Summary We are looking for astrong, self-driven QA Engineerwho can perform ahybrid rolein the new testing paradigm — acting as both aBusiness Analyst (BA)and aQuality Assurance (QA)professional. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding business needs under direction, translating them into clear requirements, and then validating them through effective QA practices. This role requires someone who canleverage AI tools extensivelyto automate and optimize bothrequirements documentationandQA activities , reducing manual effort while improving speed and accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis ResponsibilitiesWork under direction to understand business problems, workflows, and client expectations Elicit, analyze, and documentbusiness and functional requirements Create and maintainBRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to clarify requirements UseAI toolsto assist with requirement generation, refinement, documentation, and validation Quality Assurance ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and executemanual and automated test casesbased on documented requirements Performfunctional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing Ensure traceability betweenrequirements and test cases Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure quality delivery UseAI-powered QA toolsto automate test case creation, execution, and maintenance AI & Automation FocusUse AI tools to: Generate and refine requirements and user stories Auto-create test cases from requirements Optimize regression test suites Perform test data generation and defect analysis Continuously identify areas where AI can reduce manual effort and improve efficiency Ensure quality, accuracy, and business alignment of AI-generated outputsRequired Skills & Qualifications2–5 years of experience inQA / Software Testing , with exposure toBusiness Analysis activities Strong understanding ofSDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies Proven ability to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios Experience withQA Automation tools(Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) Hands-on experience usingAI tools for QA and documentation(AI test generators, AI copilots, Gen AI tools, etc.) Good knowledge oftest case design techniquesand requirement traceability Basic to intermediate knowledge ofprogramming/scripting languages(Java, JavaScript, or Python) Experience withAPI testing(Postman or similar tools) Familiarity withJIRA, Confluence, or similar tools Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills Ability to take direction, work independently, and deliver with minimal supervision
