Job title: Network Engineer (Fortinet)Location: PAN INDIAYrs of experience: 6-15 yrs- Fortinet Products: Proficiency in FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer , Fortinet SDWAN is essential. - Paloalto Products: Proficiency in Paloalto , Panorama and Prisma (MUSPN & RSPN), GlobalProtect VPN. - SD-WAN: Strong knowledge of SD-WAN principles and experience with Fortinet's SD-WAN solution. - Network Protocols: Solid understanding of core networking and routing protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL). - Security Features: Experience with security features such as IPS, AV,Web Filtering, Application Control, and SSL Inspection.Responsibilities:- Design, deploy, and manage: FortiGate firewall, Paloalto firewall, Fortinet SD-WAN solutions, including configuring FortiGate & Paloalto firewalls, VPNs (IPSEC, RA-VPN), and high availability (HA) setups. - Manage and monitor: Day-to-day administration of Fortinet & Paloalto devices, monitoring network performance, and ensuring security posture through tools like Forti Analyzer & Panorama. - Policy and configuration: Configure firewall policies, routing protocols (like BGP and OSPF), NAT, and network access controls. - Troubleshooting and support: Provide L2/L3 support to troubleshoot complex network security issues and incidents, including performing root cause analysis. - Security and compliance: Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. - Maintenance and updates: Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and system tuning for Fortinet devices. - Documentation and training: Maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures, and provide technical guidance or training to other teams
