We Are Hiring!Position: Cyber/Information Security SpecialistLocation: Irbid, JordanAbout the RoleWe are seeking a proactive Information Security Specialist to join our team and strengthen our cybersecurity posture. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security alerts, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with IT teams to mitigate risks. If you are passionate about safeguarding digital assets and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze 100% of security alerts from EDR, Vulnerability Management, and Email Security within defined SLAs. - Investigate and triage security incidents (e.g., phishing, malware, unauthorized access). - Ensure corporate endpoints have up-to-date protection (antivirus, EDR) and perform monthly compliance checks. - Conduct monthly vulnerability scans and ensure critical vulnerabilities are remediated within 30 days. - Collaborate with IT teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities effectively. - Participate in incident response exercises and post-incident reviews. - Implement new threat intelligence feeds to enhance detection and response capabilities. - Deploy and configure security tools (antivirus, DLP, MFA). - Assist in managing cloud security and ensure AWS/Azure/GCP assets comply with CIS benchmarks.Education & Certifications- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Preferred certifications: Security+, CEH, CySA+.Experience- 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT roles.Technical Skills- Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation. - Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs). - Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, OWASP.Soft Skills- Ability to quickly learn new tools and adapt to evolving threats. - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. - Analytical mindset to spot anomalies and misconfigurations. - Excellent problem-solving skills.Communication Skills- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong verbal and written communication for incident reports, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides. - Languages: English and Hindi.
