Position-Manager/ Sr. Manager-Project FinanceDepartment: Project FinanceLocation: Gurugram, HaryanaPreferred Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar Power ProjectsExp Range-7 to 14 yearsQualification-CA or MBA-FinanceRole OverviewThe position will be responsible for leading and executing end-to-end project financing for RE projects including utility-scale solar power projects. The role involves debt syndication, financial structuring, closure of term sheets, and ongoing lender relationship management with Indian PSUs and private banks/NBFCs.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Finance & Capital Structuring- Lead financing activities for new and existing solar projects including debt sourcing, refinancing, and working capital facilities. - Structure optimal financing models ensuring competitive pricing, tenure, security package, and covenants. - Prepare financial models, project cashflow analysis, sensitivity tests, and investment recommendations for the management/investment committee. - Drive project appraisals, technical due diligence, compliance documentation, and loan closure processes.Lender Management- Independently manage relationships with PSU banks, private banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and credit rating agencies. - Lead negotiations on term sheets, covenants, and documentation. - Ensure timely disbursement and compliance reporting to lenders.Project Execution Support- Work closely with Business Development, Legal, Engineering, Land, and SCM teams to support project readiness for financing. - Manage internal approval notes, board presentations, and risk reviews.Monitoring & Compliance- Monitor existing loan portfolios, repayment schedules, escrow/cash-flow waterfalls, and DSRA requirements. - Manage project insurance, security perfection, audits, and statutory compliance.Required Skills- Demonstrated track record of securing debt from PSU + private lenders (mandatory). - Strong understanding of financial modelling, project cash-flow metrics (DSCR, IRR, NPV), and risk analysis. - Experience with documentation negotiation, CP/CS management, and lender audits. - Thorough knowledge of RBI norms, security structuring, escrow/TRA mechanism and credit rating process. - Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and leadership ability.Preferred Exposure- Solar plant financing (open access/C&I/utility scale) - Refinancing / portfolio funding / acquisition deals - Exposure to green bonds/ECB structures (added advantage)
