This is a unique opportunity to join our Global Safety & Security team and play a critical role in protecting Wayfair’s people, assets, and global operations.This individual will manage contracted security staff, lead incident monitoring and response, and own the India TDC’s safety and security program. In addition, they will support international events, investigations, and monitoring by gathering and sharing information that helps keep Wayfair employees and operations safe.If you thrive in fast paced environments, excel at leading security operations, and want to contribute to an enterprise wide mission, we’d love to hear from you.What You’ll Do● Leadership & OversightLead and manage a contracted security team providing 24/7 coverage at the India TDC.Act as the satellite GSOC’s manager, overseeing daily monitoring of alarms, CCTV, accesscontrol, and incident escalations.Develop, maintain, and enforce post orders, training, and operational procedures to ensureguard force effectiveness and compliance with GLOSS standards.● Safety & SecurityOwn the site safety and security program, ensuring compliance with local regulations andWayfair policies.Serve as the key point of contact for emergencies, incidents, and investigations involving theIndia TDC.Partner with local law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and emergency responders during crisesor planned exercises.● Global GSOC & Event SupportMonitor global threats and emerging risks that may impact Wayfair’s people, sites, and supplychain.Support international events and high visibility business activities with security planning,monitoring, and incident response.Collaborate with GLOSS investigations and intelligence teams to collect, analyze, and sharerelevant security information.● Partnership & Stakeholder EngagementBuild strong working relationships with internal partners (Facilities, HR, Operations, Technology)to drive resilience and preparedness.Represent Wayfair to external stakeholders, including security vendors, regulators, and industrynetworks.Deliver site level training, awareness sessions, and emergency drills to promote a strong safetyculture.What You’ll Need6+ years in safety and security operations, with at least 3 years managing contracted securitystaff, GSOC functions, or equivalent operational leadership.Ability to conduct onsite physical security activities including standing and walking for extendedperiods, climbing stairs, performing foot patrols in varying weather/terrain, and respondingquickly to emergencies.Familiarity with access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and incident management systems(e.g., Lenel, ExacQvision).Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and direct security officers or contracted personnel.Strong problem solving and crisis management skills, with sound judgment in both routine andemergency scenarios.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of engaging with site leadership,global partners, and external agencies.Ability to travel within India and internationally (U.S., Europe, and Asia) to support enterpriseoperations.Comfort working in a high visibility, fast paced environment with shifting priorities and globalscope.About WayfairWayfair is one of the world’s largest online destinations for the home.
