Job Title: Service EngineerLocation: Pune (All part of Maharashtra)Department: Service & SupportExperience: 1–3 yearsEducation: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical EngineeringJob Summary:The Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites. The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service and communication.Key Responsibilities:- Perform installation and commissioning of instruments and systems at customer premises. - Provide preventive and breakdown maintenance services as per schedule or emergency requests. - Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions (hardware/software). - Maintain detailed records of service reports, installation checklists, and calibration logs. - Conduct product training and demonstrations for customers and internal staff. - Coordinate with the internal teams (R&D, Production) for technical support and escalations. - Manage AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and ensure timely service delivery. - Provide feedback to R&D and QA teams on field issues and customer complaints. - Ensure adherence to safety guidelines during service activities. - Travel to customer sites as required (extensive travel may be necessary).Key Skills Required:- Hands-on experience with electrical/electronic instruments and tools - Basic PLC knowledge (preferred: Delta, Siemens, or similar) - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and user manuals - Good verbal and written communication for customer interaction - Familiarity with calibration procedures and validation protocols - Proficient with MS Office and basic report preparationPreferred Experience:- Service experience in medical devices, laboratory instruments, automation systems, or IVD equipment - Understanding of ISO, IVD, or other regulatory requirements (optional)
