Job Title: Performance Test Engineer (JMeter) + Manual Testing Location:Chennai (Work from Office) Experience:5+ Years Employment Type:Full-Time Mode:Work From Office Job Description We are seeking an experiencedPerformance Test Engineerwith strong hands-on expertise inJMeteralong with solid proficiency inManual Testing . The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance test scenarios, while also contributing to functional and regression testing activities. This role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Performance Testing Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts usingApache JMeter . Conductload, stress, scalability, endurance , andspike testingbased on requirements. Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements. Prepare detailed performance testing reports and share insights with development and business teams. Work closely with developers, DevOps, and architects to troubleshoot performance issues. Manual Testing Develop and execute test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing. Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools. Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all modules. Participate in requirement discussions and contribute to test planning. Support UAT and production validation activities. Required Skills Technical Skills Strong experience withApache JMeterfor performance testing. Hands-on in different types of performance testing (Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance). Strong knowledge ofPerformance Test PlanningandPerformance Metrics Analysis . Proficiency inManual Testing , including test case design and execution. Good understanding of SDLC and STLC. Experience with defect tracking tools such asJIRA ,Azure DevOps , or similar. Basic understanding of SQL for validating backend data (MySQL/Oracle). Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, New Relic, AppDynamics, etc.) is an added advantage. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
