It supports various teams and functions across Delta and is an integral part of our transformation agenda, working seamlessly with a global team to create memorable experiences for customers.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Report on Delta’s assets leaving TechOps for sale, exchange, or lease return, including incident statements, asset histories, LLP lists, SB and AD reports - Facilitate records transfer, audit, and retention for all maintenance visits - Use planning data to prepare for receipt of records. - Communicate with stations to ensure records quality - Research and retrieve records in the repository. - Support records transfer, audit, and troubleshooting for major assemblies. - Maintain data integrity during shop visits by addressing issues reported by Engine Maintenance and other stakeholders. - Responsible for the handling, generation, and retention of engine shop visit paperwork. - Input incoming customer engine records into the MTAC system and transfer removal data from Delta internal systems into MTAC. - Generate customer-specific part reports (LLP, MSPL, and Component) from MTAC for customers. - Resolve routine system and customer-generated issues using the blended core systems (SAP, GEM/MIRS, SCEPTRE, and MTAC. - Provide direct support to the engine and support shops regarding discrepancies in engine shop paperwork. - Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure seamless information flow and process alignment. - Follow all TOPPs (Technical Operations Policies and Procedures) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure compliance and consistency. - Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures - Must be able to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment - Guide and mentor “Engineers” within the CSM – Engine Records team to deliver on key business objectives.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (aerospace or mechanical preferred) or comparable experience in an engineering related field. - 8-12 years of experience working for Airlines supporting in Technical Records domain for Engines. - Familiarity with aircraft, engine, and component records. - Good Understanding of electronic record tracking systems - Willingness and ability to build skills in the Blended Core (SCEPTRE, MIRS, and SAP) and MTAC. - Should possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, able to handle several projects simultaneously with minimum supervision, well organized and able to prioritize work to meet established deadlines. - Strong teamwork and cross-team collaboration skills. - Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. - Must be able to coordinate workflow to multiple disciplines. - Able to work effectively in a fast paced and high-volume environment. - Must have a strong sense of customer service.WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):- Prior aviation records experience with any other Airlines. - Overview of SAP, SCEPTRE and MIRS applications - Basic knowledge and understanding of OEM source documents including major assembly, component and aircraft repair manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC)/Illustrated Parts List (IPL), and manufacturer standard practice manuals and FAA technical record policies preferred.
