We are looking for passionate leaders to help us maintain our reputation for excellence and innovation in the F&B sector.About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead Food Whisperer’s corporate catering division in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will come with a strong background in Food & Beverage (F&B) or large-scale Corporate Catering operations.As the Operations Manager, you will be the custodian of the Food Whisperer brand promise at our client sites. You will act as the bridge between our culinary production teams and our corporate clients, ensuring that daily operations run efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards of hospitality.Key Responsibilities1. Operational Excellence- Oversee end-to-end catering operations for Food Whisperer’s corporate client sites across Bengaluru. - Ensure timely execution of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner services according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline logistics, food dispatch, and on-site service. - Coordinate with the Central Kitchen/Production team to ensure menu planning meets client expectations and nutritional standards.2. Client Relationship Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate administration teams and facility managers. - Conduct regular operational review meetings with clients to gather feedback and address any service gaps immediately. - Drive client retention and identify opportunities for up-selling special event catering within existing accounts.3. Financial Management & Cost Control- Manage the P&L (Profit and Loss) for the assigned region/units. - Monitor food costs, wastage, and labor costs to ensure profitability without compromising the quality Food Whisperer is known for. - Manage vendor relationships and procurement logistics for on-site requirements.4. Team Leadership- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of site managers, stewards, and service staff. - Conduct training sessions on soft skills, hygiene standards, and service etiquette. - Manage duty rosters, attendance, and performance appraisals.5. Quality Assurance & Compliance- Ensure strict adherence to FSSAI regulations, HACCP standards, and corporate safety protocols. - Conduct surprise audits at client sites to ensure food temperature, taste, and presentation standards meet Food Whisperer’s benchmarks.Candidate ProfileExperience & Background:- Proven experience in Operations Management within the F&B, Hotel, or Corporate Catering sectors. - Prior experience managing large-volume cafeterias or multi-site catering operations is highly preferred. - Strong understanding of the Bengaluru market and local logistics.Skills & Competencies:- Leadership: Ability to manage large teams and handle high-pressure situations during peak service hours. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interfacing. - Problem Solving: Quick decision-making skills to handle operational bottlenecks. - Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools for operational analysis.Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. - Post-graduation in Operations Management is a plus.What We Offer- A competitive compensation package commensurate with industry standards. - Opportunity to work with a fast-growing organization and premium corporate clients. - A collaborative work environment with significant scope for career progression.How to ApplyInterested candidates can send their updated CV / Resume to debangan.ghosh@ with the subject line: “Application for Operations Manager - Bengaluru”.
