Responsible for assisting the Finance, Commercial, Operations and Sales functions of the business by performing a variety of administrative tasks. Ensuring data integrity is consistent, of high quality and accuracy. Providing quality reporting data, analysis and decision support as well as ad hoc reporting when required.Primary Responsibilities:Sales Accruals and Customer Invoicing:- Liaise with stakeholders and invoicing team to manage accruals and invoicing queries. - Work through and solve customer invoicing issues. - Support the Finance Coordinator in day-to-day and ad hoc tasks. - Assist invoicing teams (customer and supplier) with invoicing items from Ramco.Finance, Sales & Operational Support:- Point of contact for sales with customer invoicing queries. - Train stakeholders on financial accrual report usage and existing processes. - Assist with Ramco and system issues by liaising with IT. - Advise Operational Management on issues such as carrier payment issues, customer issues, accrual issues and more. - Create financial adjustments via Ramco (customer, supplier and claims). - Resolve revenue leakage items (customer and supplier) in Ramco. - Conduct carrier and vendor reconciliations. - Manage interface failures from Ramco to SAP. - Cover the Finance Coordinator’s responsibilities when on leave. - Assist with other ad hoc tasks as needed.Reporting:- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders. - Manage and produce required daily, weekly and monthly reporting. - Implement and maintain controls to prevent financial discrepancies. - Monthly adjustment reporting. - Action mismatch reporting with Operations.Process Improvement:- Identify and suggest areas for improvement in exposure points. - Propose changes to business processes to improve operational efficiency and performance.Qualifications:Tertiary Qualifications:- Business, Finance, or similar field. - Supply chain qualifications desirable.Skills:- Reporting and presentation - Data extraction and evaluation/analysis - Data entry - Ramco (highly desirable, not essential) - SAP Finance - Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledgeExperience:- Relevant experience in the logistics industry - Developing and monitoring organizational KPIs - Exposure to similar support roles partnering with Logistics/Supply ChainPersonal Attributes:- Strong numerical reasoning - Service and results oriented - Attention to detail - Highly motivated - Problem solver
