TCS present an excellent opportunity for Unix (AIX, Linux) administratorJob Location: BangaloreExperience required: 8-10 yrsInterview date: 11-Dec-25 (Thursday)Must-Have- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Strong Knowledge and experience in AIX & Linux Administration. - Installing, Configuring and Troubleshooting RedHat Linux 5.x/6.x/7.x & AIX 6.1/7.1 - Administration of (VIO servers, LPARs, DLPAR, NIM Server, HACMP, Clusters) - Knowledge of IBM Power and Intel Server Architecture. - Experience administration in large enterprise environments, major activities & root causes analysis for resolving major issues. - Provide AIX/Linux systems administration, which includes user administration, application support, preventative maintenance, backup, and recovery, and system automation through scripting as required. - Maintain systems by applying operating system updates, firmware packages, and security patches. - Operate, monitor and maintain Linux/Aix infrastructure to include provisioning, incident troubleshooting w/resolution, and availability. - Daily administration tasks around Linux/Aix OS, LVM administration, Patch management, User and security administration, Cron job management, Printer management, shell scripting and Performance monitoring/tuning. - Work Coordination - Coordinate work tasks with Customer, team members, and Product Vendors in order to perform the tasks assigned efficiently in Timely manner - Monitors used to ensure security of data and access privileges - Maintains system documentation and logs - General Skills & Should be able to work independently as well as a team member. Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills. Should possess ability to explain technical matters in non-technical terms to customers -Good-to-Have- Linux & Aix - Oracle/IBM & Azure Cloud
