Job Title: Head – Marketing Analytics & InsightsLocation: Bangalore / Hyderabad/VizagEmployment Type: Full-TimeRole SummaryThe Head – Marketing Analytics & Insights will be responsible for turning data into actionable strategic insights that drive marketing performance, customer acquisition, retention, and ROI. This leader will build and manage a high-performing analytics team, establish the measurement infrastructure and frameworks, and partner closely with marketing and admissions teams to ensure marketing decisions are data-driven and aligned with overall business objectives.The individual will design and implement the university’s data infrastructure (data lake), integrate it with CRM systems, and institutionalize dashboards and reporting frameworks. Leading a small team of analysts, this person will deliver insights that empower leadership and academic schools to make informed, strategic, and timely decisions.Key Responsibilities1. Data Infrastructure & Systems Development- Design and implement a centralised data lake/warehouse to unify data from CRM, website, digital campaigns, social media platforms, admissions, and finance systems. - Develop data pipelines and ensure seamless integration between CRM and marketing automation systems. - Define and implement data governance, quality assurance, and documentation processes to maintain integrity and accessibility of data.2. Marketing & Admissions Analytics- Develop analytical frameworks and KPIs to monitor lead generation, campaign performance, admission funnel conversions, student diversity, scholarship utilisation, and fee collection metrics. - Provide insights on digital engagement, SEO/SEM effectiveness, social media performance, and website analytics (GA4). - Deliver actionable insights to optimise marketing investments, improve conversion efficiency, and enhance student acquisition outcomes.3. Leadership & Team Development- Lead and coach a team of 2–3 data analysts, strengthening their skills in data modelling, visualisation, and presentation. - Foster a collaborative, insight-driven culture across marketing and admissions teams. - Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights and recommendations for marketing leadership and senior stakeholders. - Partner with marketing, admissions, IT and academic schools to ensure analytics initiatives are strategically aligned with institutional goals.4. Dashboards, Reporting & Communication- Build and institutionalise executive dashboards and trackers for real-time visibility of marketing and admissions KPIs. - Prepare Periodic insights decks for the top management and deans/school heads. - Serve as the central point of contact for all marketing, admissions, and revenue - analytics needs across the university.Key Outcomes / Success Indicators- Successful implementation of a data lake and CRM integration within the first 6 months. - Operational dashboards and decision-support systems that would be actively used by senior leadership. - Improved accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility of analytics outputs. - Enhanced marketing ROI and improved lead-to-admission conversion rates.Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Marketing Analytics. - 8–12 years of professional experience with very strong Analytical skills - Strong proficiency in Power BI / Tableau / Google Data Studio, advanced Excel, and SQL - Experience in building and managing data lakes or data warehouses.
