The role involves planning, designing, and overseeing construction and infrastructure development for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and experience working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Key Responsibilities1. Planning & Design- Prepare and review engineering drawings, structural designs, and project specifications. - Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and soil investigations. - Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to develop comprehensive project plans. - Ensure all design elements comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.2. Project Execution & Supervision- Oversee on-site civil engineering work including foundation, structural, utility, and infrastructure development. - Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety standards. - Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues. - Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports.3. Technical & Quality Assurance- Validate material specifications and approve construction materials. - Review and certify contractor submissions, drawings, and method statements. - Ensure implementation of quality assurance and control measures throughout the project lifecycle.4. Cost & Time Management- Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, budgets, and schedules. - Track resource utilization and ensure adherence to project timelines. - Identify risks, propose mitigation plans, and support value engineering initiatives.5. Documentation & Compliance- Maintain accurate engineering documentation, reports, and as-built drawings. - Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory guidelines. - Support the approval process with government agencies and statutory bodies.Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred). - 3-5 years of experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects. - Experience with residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is an advantage.Technical Skills- Proficiency with AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, MS Project/Primavera, and related engineering software. - Strong knowledge of structural design principles, construction methods, and materials. - Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes.Soft Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
