Job Description - Creative Director Location: Bengaluru Department: Brand & Marketing Company: K12 Techno ServicesAbout the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Creative Director to lead the creative function for Orchids The International School. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in designing high-impact communication across OOH, print, digital, school branding, banners, posters, marketing collaterals, and campaign development. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage and elevate a team of 6–8 designers while ensuring brand consistency and creative excellence.Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end creative process for Orchids’ branding and marketing initiatives. Oversee conceptualization, design development, and execution across OOH, banners, posters, school branding, digital creatives, and campaign assets. Collaborate closely with Brand, Marketing, Academics, and Operations teams to understand business goals and convert briefs into impactful visual communication. Guide, mentor, and manage a team of 6–8 designers, ensuring output quality, productivity, and skill growth. Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistent and modern brand expression. Work with external vendors—printers, production houses, agencies—to ensure high-quality output and timely delivery. Develop creative solutions for large-scale school branding (bus branding, school façade, standees, internal branding, etc.). Review and approve design work to maintain creative excellence and alignment with the brand’s tone. Stay updated on trends in advertising, FMCG, education, and design to bring fresh ideas into the brand.Required Skills & Competencies Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to translate ideas into clear and compelling visual communication. Expertise in brand design, campaign thinking, OOH design, print production, and storytelling. Exceptional team leadership and people management capabilities. Attention to detail with a strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy. Ability to handle high-volume creative requirements with quick turnaround timelines. Strong decision-making skills and stakeholder management.Software Proficiency Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (mandatory) After Effects / Premiere Pro (added advantage) CorelDRAW (if required for print teams) Familiarity with Figma or similar collaborative design tools (preferred)Experience Requirements 8–12 years of experience in creative/design roles. Minimum 3–4 years in a leadership or Creative Director/Art Director role. Prior experience in FMCG, retail, advertising agencies, or similar fast-paced industries is highly preferred due to the volume and quality of creative output required. Experience managing medium-sized design teams and working on high-visibility OOH campaigns.Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or related fields.Preferred Background Worked in sectors with heavy branding needs: FMCG Retail Education Advertising agencies (ATL/BTL) Hospitality or lifestyle brands Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful design across print, OOH, and integrated campaigns.
