This role operates within established procedures and under guidance from senior engineers. You will contribute to software quality by validating features, resolving straightforward defects, escalating functional issues and supporting enhancements aligned with regulatory and operational requirements.This position is ideal for a developer or tester with strong fundamentals who is looking to grow within structured engineering practices while contributing to high-impact applications.Key Responsibilities Execute software tests following standard procedures and work instructions. Identify, reproduce and fix straightforward bugs; escalate complex issues to senior engineers. Document defects, test results and resolution steps. Suggest improvements or recommendations for bug resolution and application stability. Collaborate with developers, testers and SMEs across the engineering team. Support maintenance tasks related to compatibility, upgrades and compliance. Ensure adherence to engineering standards, secure coding expectations and quality frameworks.Mandatory Skills 2–4 years of experience in software testing or software engineering. Hands-on experience with functional testing and defect management. Ability to troubleshoot basic software issues and propose resolutions. Good understanding of SDLC and QA processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. English fluency (written and verbal).✨ Optional Skills Experience working with enterprise applications in regulated environments. Familiarity with maritime, logistics or assurance systems. Basic knowledge of upgrading or maintaining applications using: Oracle .NET Framework Exposure to rule engines or configuration-driven platforms.
