Gnapi has a strong expertise in the utilities and Telecom domains, working closely with multiple customers across North America.About the Job:The ESRI Architect/Lead will drive end-to-end architecture, design, integration, and delivery of enterprise GIS solutions built on the ESRI ArcGIS platform. The role focuses on Utility (Electric, Gas, Water, Telecom) projects and requires deep expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, Utility Network, and enterprise-scale GIS environments.What We Are Looking For:- 10+ years in GIS with strong hands-on ESRI platform experience. - Expert in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, Portal, ArcGIS Server, and related components. - Strong experience with ArcGIS Utility Network design, configuration, migration, and deployment. - Solid programming experience with Python/ArcPy, ArcGIS JavaScript API, SQL, ModelBuilder. - Experience with enterprise geodatabases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostGIS) and versioning workflows. - Expertise in FME, ETL pipelines, and spatial transformations. - Utility domain experience (Electric/Gas/Water/Telecom networks—tracing, asset management, field workflows). - Integrations using REST APIs, Webhooks, middleware, microservices. - Strong technical leadership and client communication.Good to Have:- ESRI certifications (Enterprise System Design, Utility Network Management). - Cloud-native GIS deployments (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker). - Knowledge of ESRI Field Maps, Workforce, Survey123, mobile SDKs. - Experience integrating GIS with SAP, Maximo, or utility OMS/DMS. - TOGAF or Architecture certifications.What You’ll Do:Solution Design & Architecture:- Architect enterprise GIS solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, Portal, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online. - Design and implement Utility Network (UN) models, services, and workflows. - Define scalable GIS architectures including high availability, security, load balancing, and performance tuning. - Develop service-based architectures using map services, feature services, geoprocessing services, and web/mobile solutions. - Create technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and integration strategies.Migration, Data & Integration:- Lead data migration projects to Utility Network from legacy GIS systems using FME, Python/ArcPy, ModelBuilder, ETL workflows. - Design data models, schemas, and validation rules for Utility Network. - Integrate ArcGIS workflows with enterprise systems (ERP/SAP, WMS, OMS/DMS/ADMS, SCADA, CRM). - Drive spatial data quality improvements, governance, and transformation processes.Technical Leadership & Quality:- Lead teams of GIS developers, analysts, and testers. - Review design, code, data models, and deployment configurations. - Define best practices for coding, testing, versioning, and deployment in ESRI environments. - Support pre-sales, solution proposals, and client workshops as a GIS SME.Stakeholder & Project Management:- Translate business requirements into technical designs and workflows. - Interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders across utility organizations. - Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across project phases.System Administration & Governance:- Work with IT teams on ArcGIS Enterprise installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching. - Define policies for performance tuning, caching, backups, and security. - Ensure GIS systems align with enterprise architecture and compliance standards.Innovation & Continuous Improvement:- Stay updated on ESRI roadmap, Utility Network enhancements, and cloud GIS trends. - Recommend improvements to GIS workflows, tools, automation, and integrations. - Leverage emerging tech: cloud (AWS/Azure), containers, automation, CI/CD.What’s In It for You:We believe that our people are our strength.
