Job Description – Shift Engineer (E&I) - Grinding UnitDepartment: Electrical & Instrumentation MaintenanceEmployment Type: TKIL ContractualKey Responsibilities- Perform DCS programming, logic modification, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and stable process operations. - Ensure proper and timely alarm generation for improved operability and information flow. - Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems across plant equipment. - Support automation tasks in coordination with operations and maintenance teams. - Ensure high equipment availability, reliability, and performance through preventive and breakdown maintenance. - Monitor and maintain electrical and instrumentation health of VRM, Roller Press, and Kiln-related circuits where applicable. - Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and shift reports. - Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.Qualifications- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. - Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in automation and E&I maintenance in an integrated cement plant. - Technical Expertise: - Proficiency in DCS programming and troubleshooting. - Skilled in logic modification and alarm management. - Hands-on experience with cement manufacturing equipment, especially Kiln, Roller Press, and VRM. - Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems.
