You will have the opportunity to grow with the company and help secure enterprises from cloud security threats.Job Description:We're looking for dreamers and doers who want to explore the frontiers of cloud security! Join us in building the next-generation cloud security platform from the ground up. In this role, you'll lead the design and architecture of scalable distributed systems built to process and store massive data streams across cloud environments, meant to serve millions of users.Key Responsibilities:- Lead Architecture & System Design: Spearhead the design of distributed, fault-tolerant systems that power real-time security analytics, anomaly detection, and access intelligence. - Build for Scale: Drive engineering efforts to ensure our systems scale efficiently across multi-tenant cloud environments, handling high-throughput data ingestion and low-latency query workloads. - Data Infrastructure Ownership: Oversee the development of reliable data pipelines and storage layers that support high-volume ingestion, transformation, and querying from heterogeneous cloud sources. - Optimize Performance & Reliability: Develop and enforce best practices for system reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency across services. - Security-First Engineering: Champion secure-by-design principles and ensure robust access control, encryption, and data governance across the stack. - Cross-Team Leadership: Partner with product, data, and security teams to shape roadmap and execution. If you thrive in ambiguity, love building platforms that matter, and care deeply about helping others grow, we want to hear from you.Tech Stack:- Programming languages - Golang, Python - API/Platform - GraphQL, GRPC, and Open API - Analytics - numpy, pytorch, Tensorflow, and BigQuery - Query languages, SQL, OpenCypher - Analytics platform - ElasticSearch, Graph DBs (AWS Neptune, Neo4j). - Event processing - KafkaMinimum Qualifications:- 8+ yrs of industry experience in software development, - 3+ yrs of leading teams from architecture and design front, - Expert knowledge of one of the programming languages C++, Java or Golang, - Experience building multi-threaded, fault-tolerant scalable systems, - Experience with Graph Databases like neo4j, AWS Neptune. - Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field,Preferred Qualifications:- Experience implementing core data structures such as b-trees, graph walks, etc. - Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement - Understanding of cloud computing architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP - Experience with any of the data analytics platforms: - Understanding of Gremlin or openCypher. - Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra. - Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, RedshiftCompany Background:The Andromeda Security founding team comprises serial entrepreneurs who have led successful startups like Andiamo Systems, Avi Networks, and Shasta Networks. Their new venture aims at simplifying cloud security with a focus on zero trust for securing identities and their entitlements using AI/ML.Founders:Murali Basavaiah, CEO: Murali is an entrepreneur & senior executive with 25+ years of experience in Distributed Systems, Infrastructure, and Security.Murali was co-founder of Avi Networks (acquired by VMware). Post-acquisition, he drove the Avi business and grew the revenue by 3x with 1000 customers.Ashish Shah, Chief Product Officer: Ashish has over 20 years of experience in product management, GTM, and software engineering across startups and large enterprises. He led product management, customer engagement, and business operations at Avi and VMware, and helped grow Avi’s business from 0 to over $100M.Gaurav Rastogi, CTO & VP of Eng.: Gaurav has 20+ years of experience in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, networking and video streaming. He was one of the founding engineers at Avi, where he led vision and technology for real-time analytics, automation, and web application security.Ramkumar Sankar, Managing Director, India office: Ramkumar co-built the Avi Networks India organization and grew it to 150+ employees.. Prior to that he built and led large engineering teams at Cisco Systems and Nokia Networks.
