Position Overview:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage power stations and transmission lines. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage engineering activities related to the design, installation, and commissioning of 132kV, 66kV, and 11kV substations and transmission lines. - Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Supervise on-site electrical works, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project timelines. - Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and project teams to integrate electrical systems into overall infrastructure. - Prepare technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings. - Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met. - Assist in procurement and evaluation of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and control panels. - Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations. - Ensure all electrical work is executed in compliance with international and local electrical codes and safety standards.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in high-voltage power station and transmission line projects (132kV/66kV/11kV). - Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar). - Strong understanding of power system protection, grounding, and testing protocols. - Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. - Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
