How you will contribute:1) Conduct feasibility studies, design, and planning of power evacuation systems for renewable energy projects.2) Prepare and review electrical design deliverables, including:- General Electrical Equipment Layouts - Sub-Station Layouts - Single Line Diagrams3) Develop and check designs for:- Cable Scheduling & Routing (above and below ground) - Lighting Design & Layout (including use of lighting design software) - Earthing Systems Design & Layout - Electrical Bulk Material Take-off & Requisitioning - Cable & Drum Schedules4) Apply industry-standard CAD systems (AutoCAD, MicroStation) to produce accurate 2-D electrical drawings.5) Work with 3-D CAD modelling systems (SP3D) for electrical design applications in a model environment.6) Ensure compliance with international design standards (IEC, CENELEC, ATEX, ANSI, NEC).7) Estimate Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for WTG foundations, transformer yards, and other wind project requirements.8) Drive design optimization to enhance electrical efficiency across projects.Ideal skills for this role include:- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. - 5–8 years of experience in electrical design engineering within the energy sector (preferably wind/renewables). - Strong knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and 3-D modelling systems (SP3D). - Familiarity with international electrical design standards. - Proven ability to manage design deliverables and ensure quality compliance. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
