We're Hiring: Instrumentation Design Engineer (Junior & Senior)Location: Bangalore, IndiaExperience: 5–14 yearsIndustry: Oil & Gas | Offshore Engineering | EPCEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleJoin our dynamic engineering team in Bangalore as an Instrumentation Design Engineer. We're looking for professionals with strong offshore project experience and hands-on expertise in instrumentation design tools and deliverables. You’ll be part of a global team working on high-impact offshore and onshore projects.️ Responsibilities- Develop and review instrumentation deliverables: IO List, Instrument Index, P&IDs, Hook-up drawings, JB schedules, Cable Schedules, and Cable Tray layouts - Prepare and validate SP3D and E3D instrumentation models, including instrument location plans and cable routing - Interpret project specifications and client requirements - Coordinate with process, electrical, mechanical, and civil teams - Review vendor documents and ensure design compliance - Support site surveys, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities - Mentor junior engineers (for senior roles) and ensure timely, high-quality deliverablesQualifications & Skills- B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related discipline - 5–9 years (Junior) or 10–14 years (Senior) of instrumentation design experience - Proficiency in: - IO List, P&ID, Hook-up drawings, JB schedules - SP3D / E3D modeling tools - Cable tray routing and layout design - Offshore oil & gas project experience preferred - Familiarity with IEC, ISA, API standards - Strong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred Experience- Offshore platform design (FPSO, fixed platforms, etc.) - Hazardous area classification and Ex-rated instrumentation - Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools)What We Offer- Work on cutting-edge offshore projects with global clients - Competitive compensation and benefits - Inclusive and collaborative work culture - Career growth through training and mentorship
