It supports various teams and functions across Delta and is an integral part of our transformation agenda, working seamlessly with a global team to create memorable experiences for customers.PRIMARY FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):As an Senior AI Software Engineer, you will work on initiatives across the entire business; initiatives range from our complex global operation to the digital customer experience. We're looking for someone who is passionate about developing solutions for real-world, large-scale problems using Artificial Intelligence techniques including Generative AI, deep learning, machine learning, reinforcement learning, and CNNs.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or engineering - 4+ years of work experience in Software Engineering and hands-on exp in Python. - 3+ years of work/educational experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, including experience in implementing classical ML methods, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning and CNN (Computer vision) - 3+ years of experience with ML infrastructure, which includes data processing, model development, model evaluation, model deployment, and debugging. - Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) frameworks and Natural Language Processing (NLP) approaches such as text classification, sentiment analysis, pattern recognition & Computer Vision / CNN - Development experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Caffe, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AWS Bedrock, scikit-learn - Experience in developing, training, evaluating, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining scalable production-grade AI solutions on AWS - Knowledge with Agile Software Development Lifecycles and DevOps/DevSecOps practicesWHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):- Master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field - Experience with distributed computing approaches such as Spark (Good to have) - Experience collaborating with business teams, understanding their objectives, and working with them to make their objectives a reality by building AI solutions - Ability to work with teams distributed across multiple time zones to drive AI projects
