The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.Responsibilities:- Create 2D and 3D floor layouts, renderings, and mood boards for client residential projects. - Understand and apply knowledge of the furniture retail industry as well as Ashley’s products and online exclusive products, operations, and manufacturing to reinforce brand aesthetic. - Responsible for capturing client requests and designing beautiful, functional, and within budget spaces that represent both a personalized approach as well as established brand lifestyles within set time limits. - Independently manage multiple projects at different stages of completion and varying complexity to ensure that deadlines are met. Record and communicate project status to necessary parties.Qualifications- 2-4 years of proficient knowledge of 2D/3D visualization and working knowledge of the elements and principles of design - Strong knowledge in floor planning software - Knowledge of Canva or similar software - Proven ability to create 2D and 3D design drawings and renderings - Ability to interpret and understand architectural details and specifications as used in construction documents - General awareness of building and health codes for compliance - 2D/3D rendering skills
