About Company: Our client is a growing EPC/EPCM organization with experience in delivering complex and large-scale industrial projects, with specialization in Fertilizers, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Energy Transition, Sulphuric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, NPK, and advanced technologies. About the Role: The incumbent will lead the Mechanical Static Equipment discipline, providing technical leadership, design oversight, and execution strategy across multiple EPC/EPCM projects. The role involves driving discipline excellence, mentoring teams, ensuring quality deliverables, and aligning engineering output with client requirements, cost, and schedule objectives. Responsibilities: - Provide leadership and technical direction for Static Equipment Engineering — Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, Tanks, etc. - Review and approve design deliverables including datasheets, specifications, drawings, and vendor documents. - Guide design teams through all project phases — from proposal and FEED to detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction support. - Ensure compliance with applicable international codes & standards (ASME, API, TEMA, IS, ASTM, etc.). - Lead technical bid evaluations, vendor qualification, and inspection review for static equipment. Qualifications: - B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) from a recognized university. - 15+ years of experience in Static Equipment Design and Engineering within EPC/EPCM organizations. - Hands-on experience with design software/tools such as PV Elite, Compress, HTRI, etc. - Strong understanding of engineering standards, project execution workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination. - Proven experience in Fertilizer, Chemical, Petrochemical, or Oil & Gas projects. - Demonstrated ability to lead large engineering teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
