E2E Payments Specialist - Retail Oil & Gas / Forecourt Payments - Contract Position Location: India (Remote)Preferred Location: Pune or BangaloreContract Length: Initial 6 months (extension very likely)Start Date: January / FebruaryRate: Competitive Day Rate (aligned to senior-level payments expertise)Paritas is working with a leading IT Consultancy who is seeking an experienced Senior Payments Specialist with deep expertise in retail payments within the Downstream Oil & Gas sector. This role will support complex payment environments across petrol forecourts, EPOS systems, fleet and fuel card products, and associated third-party integrations.The successful candidate will bring strong end-to-end payments knowledge, hands-on experience with POS terminals and payment platforms, and a proven ability to work across support, change, and delivery in large, enterprise-scale environments.Key Requirements10+ years’ end-to-end payments experience, ideally within large-scale retail environmentsStrong background in retail payments in Downstream Oil & Gas, such as: EPOS and petrol forecourt payment systems Fleet Card Management (e.g. Shell Fleet Hub or similar) Fuel & Charge / EV charging card productsExperience working with major Oil & Gas companies operating forecourt networksTechnical & Domain ExpertiseStrong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including:Acquirers and issuersPayment gatewaysPayment processing technologiesHands-on experience with payment terminals (e.g. Verifone or similar)Proven experience delivering POS terminal hardware and software upgradesSolid understanding of payments support models, change management, and delivery processesExperience working with and managing multiple third-party vendors and service providersCore SkillsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate effectively in complex, multi-vendor environmentsQuick learner with the ability to understand new platforms and processes rapidlyComfortable working remotely while collaborating with global teams
