Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in India, for a Bakery and Pastry Research and Product Development Chef. The role involves researching and developing innovative bakery and pastry recipes, experimenting with ingredients and techniques, and ensuring new creations meet quality and food safety standards. The chef will collaborate with the culinary team to refine products, oversee the testing process, and document detailed recipes and processes. Responsibilities also include monitoring industry trends and contributing to the enhancement of the bakery and pastry product line. Qualifications Expertise in pastry arts, baking, and recipe development.Knowledge of food trends, ingredient pairing, and food production methods.Experience with quality assurance and food safety standards in a culinary setting.Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in experimental baking and pastry techniques.Team collaboration, time management, and communication abilities.Professional certification or diploma in Culinary Arts or Baking is preferred.Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
