Now we need an engineer to help uscross the finish line, ship to the app stores, and then rapidly iterate based on real user feedback.This is about taking something built into something shipped—and then making it great.This is a high-ownership role. You'll work directly with the founders to ship fast, launch theproduct, and own the technical roadmap post-launch. If something needs to get done, you figure itout and make it happen.What You'll Do• Ship new features and improvements to the Mindsnack mobile app (iOS & Android) usingReact Native + Expo• Extend and optimize backend systems with Node.js and PostgreSQL• Own the deployment pipeline—from code to App Store/Play Store releases• Build out authentication, user management, and complex data flows• Integrate AI capabilities into the product (content generation, personalization,recommendations)• Scale the app as we grow from early users to millions• Move fast, ship weekly, and iterate based on real user dataWhat We're Looking ForMust Have• Built at-least 1 app end to end is live on Appstore/Playstore.• Strong proficiency in React Native + Expo for mobile development• Backend experience with Node.js and SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred)• Experience building and launching apps to iOS App Store and Google Play Store• Comfortable with authentication systems and complex backend flows• Deployment experience (CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, app store submissions)• AI-first thinking—you actively use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) to 10x yourproductivityNice to Have• Previous startup experience (you know the chaos and love it)• Experience with gamification, recommendation systems, or content platforms• Interest in psychology, behavioral design, or learning science• A side project or app you've shipped yourselfWho You Are• Builder mindset—you'd rather ship something imperfect than debate the perfect solution• Relentlessly curious—you learn new tools and technologies fast because you genuinelyenjoy it• High agency—you don't wait for permission or perfect specs; you figure things out• Comfortable with ambiguity—startups are messy, and you thrive in that environment• Willing to go the extra mile—early-stage startups require intensity, and you're ready for itWhat We Offer• Direct impact—your code will be used by real people within days of writing it• Ownership and autonomy—no micromanagement, just clear goals and trust• Growth trajectory—as the company grows, so does your role and responsibility• Work directly with founders who are builders themselves• Competitive compensation with equityHow to ApplySend us an email with the following:• Your name• Resume• Current CTC• Expected CTC• Links to any projects, apps, or work you're proud of (GitHub, portfolio, live apps)• A short note on why you're excited about MindsnackApply at: move fast.
