PURPOSETo oversee the organization’s finance function with a focus on strategic planning, financial control, reporting, and governance. This role partners with senior leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, drive sustainable growth, optimize cash flow, and maintain robust financial systems across all business units.KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSReports to: VP – Finance| Unit HeadReporting Roles: Finance Managers, Accounts Payable & Receivable Teams, Tax & Compliance, F&B ControlInteracts with: External: Banks, Auditors, Consultants, Statutory Authorities, Vendors, Regulatory BodiesInternal: Senior Leadership, Business Unit Heads, Procurement, Legal, HR, Operations, Sales & Marketing, StaffKEY RESPONSIBILITIESDrive Operational ExcellenceSupport the General Managers/ Unit Heads/VP – Finance in managing day-to-day financial operations including accounting, treasury, tax, and internal controls.Ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Assist in implementing and monitoring robust processes for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across units.Applied LearningKeep updated on changes in financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry practices, and cascade key updates to the finance team.Promote adoption of technology and automation tools to improve financial accuracy and efficiency.Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at cost optimization and risk reduction.People ManagementSupervise, guide, and motivate finance heads and managers, ensuring a culture of accountability and collaboration.Assist in creating and executing succession plans and training programs for finance personnel.Ensure team objectives are aligned with overall business priorities and performance targets.Business & Financial AcumenProvide financial insights and reports to support strategic planning and investment decisions by senior leadership.Oversee capital allocation tracking, working capital efficiency, and financial analysis of key projects.Prepare and review financial models, feasibility studies, and business case assessments.Revenue management control.LeadershipAct as the primary deputy to the Unit Heads, stepping in for decision-making as required.Represent finance in cross-functional meetings, internal reviews, and external stakeholder discussions.Uphold ethical financial practices, transparency, and compliance across all finance functions.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with statutory requirements, tax laws, and corporate governance guidelines.Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of observations.Maintain documentation of policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.Occupational Health & Safety ResponsibilitiesSafeguard confidential financial and corporate information through secure handling and storage.Drive awareness on fraud prevention, data security, and ethical practices within the finance team.Identify potential risks that could impact financial or operational stability and recommend preventive measures.JOB REQUIREMENTS / HIRING PROFILE QUALIFICATIONS Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification (CMA, CPA, MBA Finance)Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or financeWORK EXPERIENCE 12–15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial or leadership role
