About Goose ElevateGoose Elevate is the training and skill development division of Goose, a Siemens Channel Partner specializing in automation projects, services, and spares across diverse industrial sectors. Goose Elevate aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing hands-on, project-driven industrial automation training to aspiring engineers.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Industrial Automation Trainer with extensive field experience to lead and deliver high-quality training sessions at Goose Elevate. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of industrial automation systems, proven experience in real-time project execution, and a passion for developing the next generation of automation engineers.Key Responsibilities- Conduct advanced classroom and lab sessions on: - PLC Programming (preferably Siemens platforms) - HMI/SCADA Development and Integration - VFDs, Servo Systems, and Panel Wiring - Industrial Networking (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, etc.) - Instrumentation and Field Devices - Guide and mentor students through buildable automation projects, ensuring practical exposure and real-world relevance. - Provide in-depth troubleshooting and commissioning guidance based on real shop floor experience. - Support continuous improvement of the Goose Elevate curriculum and training standards. - Coordinate with the Goose engineering and service teams to align training content with current industry technologies. - Maintain lab infrastructure and oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of automation training kits.Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering. - Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, project execution, or shop floor operations (mandatory). - Proven expertise in Siemens PLCs, HMIs, Drives, and SCADA systems. - Strong understanding of industrial control panel design and system integration. - Excellent communication, mentoring, and presentation skills. - Ability to translate complex industrial concepts into clear, practical lessons.Preferred Candidate Profile- Candidates with shop floor or commissioning background in industrial automation systems. - Those who have independently handled or built at least three automation projects. - Experience working in a system integrator, OEM, or manufacturing plant environment. - Passionate about training, mentoring, and developing technical talent.Benefits- Opportunity to mentor and build the next generation of automation professionals. - Exposure to live Goose automation projects and Siemens technologies. - Competitive salary package with performance incentives. - Continuous professional development through Goose and Siemens programs.
