The role would be to primarily support the Quarterly Upgrade Testing with managing and executing regression testing. This role ensures that Oracle application changes do not disrupt business operations and that critical business processes continue to function post-updates. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, or SCM, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.Key Responsibilities• Plan, coordinate, and execute quarterly testing cycles aligned with Oracle's patch release schedule.• Analyze Oracle release notes to identify impacted modules, new features, and necessary regression test scenarios.• Develop and maintain test scripts and scenarios for Oracle Cloud applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, etc.).• Perform end-to-end testing across modules, ensuring business processes remain intact post-update.• Work with business users and subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate and sign off on test results.• Document defects, coordinate issue resolution with Oracle Support and internal stakeholders.• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training/documentation on new features or changes.• Maintain a test repository and track historical results for audit and compliance purposes.Qualifications & Skills-Required• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.• 1+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, or SCM, with a focus on testing or quality assurance.• Understanding of Oracle quarterly release cycles and the impact of patches.• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Oracle Test Manager, ALM, JIRA, or similar).• Familiarity with automation tools like Oracle Automated Testing Suite (OATS), Selenium, or Katalon is a plus.• Strong communication and documentation skills.• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.Qualifications & Skills - Preferred (Good to have)• Oracle Cloud Certification(s)• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment.• Familiarity with integrations (e.g., REST APIs, file-based data imports).Professional Traits• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.• Proficient in English (written and spoken), with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly, with the ability to interact with business users and technical teams.• Ability to collaborate across teams with clear, concise, and professional English communication.
