Communications Manager:India Working closely with the India Operational Delivery leadership team, this role is required to provide communications planning, advice and delivery to support the India Capita Experience delivery organisation.Key responsibilities:- Develop and deliver an internal communications strategy to support the India delivery organisation in achieving strategic objectives. - Develop and sustain excellent relationships with all key stakeholders in the India delivery organisation and the Divisional Communications Team. - Provide communications support and strategic counsel to senior operational leaders in the India delivery organisation. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage and contain reputational risks. - Develop, manage and evaluate core communications channels to drive effective two way communications and engagement, with an increased focus on digital channels. - Working with Operations, develop and deliver operational communications to colleagues in line with contractual client commitments, and best practice. - Work closely with the divisional communications team to increase consistency of communications activity and sharing / adoption of best practice. - Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure a comprehensive and joined-up approach to communications and engagement. - Plan, write and produce high quality, engaging content for a variety of communications channels. - Provide communications advice/suggestions to business units and stakeholders on communications and engagement initiatives and objectives. - Tailor and deliver key Group and Divisional campaigns into the India delivery organisation. - Working with Capita Group PR, and Divisional communications, manage local PR and social media support. - Support in the development and maintenance of our brand, across all India sites.Knowledge, skills, and abilities:- Significant experience in developing and managing internal and external communications strategies in corporate, multi-country, multi-client, customer facing environments. - Authority and confidence to effectively challenge and influence senior stakeholders. - Proven track record in the delivery of high-impact communications to deliver desired business outcomes. - Crisis and incident management communications experience. - Branding and campaign experience. - Experience in managing external suppliers to deliver communications / branding briefs. - Broad understanding of current and future communications, branding and engagement tools and techniques. - Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to write for a variety of media. - Experience of establishing and managing traditional and digital communication channels. - Highly customer focused with the capability to work to tight deadlines in a changing and dynamic environment. - Excellent communications planning skills. - Degree level or equivalent communications qualification.
