Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. National Parts Strategy & Supply Chain PlanningBuild and manage a centralized parts supply chain model without regional warehouses.Define stocking norms, safety stock, and replenishment logic in collaboration withsourcing partners.Ensure accurate demand forecasting and allocation planning for service centers anddealer networks.2. Centralized Parts Operations ManagementOversee the complete parts flow from Central Parts Warehouse (CPW) directly to servicecenters, dealers, and customers.Ensure timely dispatch, delivery, and reconciliation of inbound/outbound shipments vialogistics partners.Maintain uninterrupted parts supply for PNAs, critical parts, warranty replacements, andrepair batteries.3. Inventory Visibility, Data Accuracy & GovernanceEnsure 100% system accuracy for part triggers, availability, GRN/Gate-In status, andstock records at service centers.Build dashboards and trackers to provide centralized, real-time visibility of stock,backorders, and part movement.Govern inventory accuracy at all service centers and ensure timely variance reportingand reconciliation.4. Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementLead national coordination with Sourcing, Service, Logistics, Warranty, and Financeteams.Drive governance reviews and improve process alignment between field teams andcentral functions.Act as the single escalation point for all parts-related operational issues.5. Reverse Logistics & Warranty OperationsOversee national reverse logistics for warranty parts, repair batteries, andrejected/damaged items.Coordinate closely with 3PL partners for pickups, in-transit tracking, and TAT compliance.Improve repair battery turnaround and warranty parts lifecycle management.6. Vendor, Logistics & Partner ManagementManage and govern all 3PL logistics partners for delivery performance, cost control, andSLA adherence.Work with sourcing partners and CPW teams to prioritize dispatches based on serviceneeds.Negotiate service levels, costs, and KPIs with logistics and operational vendors.7. Technology, Automation & System ImprovementsDrive enhancements in SAP , Salesforce, WMS integrations, and API-based automations.Implement digital tools for stock visibility, demand planning, and real-time tracking.Reduce manual interventions through system-driven workflows and automatedreporting.8. Process Governance, Compliance & Audit ControlOwn all national SOPs for parts ordering, dispatch, GRN, Gate-in, claims, and returns.Ensure compliance to audit, safety, ISO, and quality norms across service centers andpartner locations.Conduct periodic performance reviews and publish national MIS reports for leadership.9. Cost OptimizationReduce cost per shipment, freight cost, and claims-related losses.Optimize packaging quality, delivery routes, and consolidation opportunities.Improve efficiency in warranty returns, reverse logistics, and battery repair movements.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- National Parts Fill Rate (MSL + PNA) - Backorder Ageing & Days to Closure - Logistics Delivery TAT - GRN & Gate-In Timeliness - Warranty/Repair Battery TAT - Cost per shipment / Logistics cost % - System accuracy (Salesforce/SAP) - Escalations & Issue Closure RateQualifications & Experience- 10–15+ years in Parts, Supply Chain, Logistics, or After-Sales in the automobile/EV - industry. - Experience managing large-scale operations without regional warehouse infrastructure - is a strong advantage. - Proficiency in SAP , Salesforce, WMS, and supply chain analytics tools. - Strong cross-functional leadership and vendor management capability.Core Competencies :- Strategic Supply Chain Planning - Vendor & Logistics Management - Data-Driven Decision Making - Operational Excellence - Strong Stakeholder Communication - Problem-Solving & RCA - Process Governance & Compliance - Technology & System Adoption
