You can also reach out to with your CV and portfolio.About the RoleAs a Short Form Scriptwriter at YAAS, you'll be responsible for researching, writing, and overseeing the production of 1-2 Instagram reels daily. Your scripts will directly impact channel growth, audience engagement, and brand perception. This role requires both creative writing talent and practical production knowledge to ensure your scripts translate into compelling visual content.Responsibilities- Research and write 24-30 high-quality scripts monthly for Instagram and other short-form platforms - Provide editors with specific B-Roll links and visual-aid input to bring scripts to life - Analyse performance data and adapt writing approach based on audience response - Work collaboratively with editors to ensure smooth content production workflow - Manage the script-to-publication process (3-4 hours writing, 3-4 hours production support daily) - Create efficient workflows to consistently meet monthly deliverables - Occasionally interface with clients to discuss content strategy and requirementsQualifications- 1-2 years experience creating content for brands, creators, or personal platforms with measurable engagement metricsRequired Skills- Strong research skills and ability to identify trending topics in relevant niches - Excellent writing abilities without over-reliance on AI tools (should use LLMs strategically to enhance thinking and identify trends, not replace original writing) - Understanding of visual storytelling and how scripts translate to video - Demonstrated ability to write engaging hooks and maintain viewer attention - Experience analysing content performance data and adjusting strategy accordingly - Portfolio of previous work showing writing quality and engagement results
