Role Title: State Sales Representative - Hospital Consumables & Accessories (HCA)Purpose of Function:To drive sales and ensure effective promotion, demand generation, and fulfillment of Dräger's Hospital Consumables & Accessories (HCA) portfolio in the state of Kerala. This role will focus on maximizing revenue from the installed base, expanding coverage in key accounts, and supporting SCPs (Sales Channel Partners) to deliver performance, ensuring consistent customer engagement and alignment with Dräger's business strategy.Tasks and Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development- Identify and pursue sales opportunities across Kerala. - Achieve revenue targets through direct and indirect channels. - Conduct installed base mapping and regular follow-ups for consumables and accessories fulfillment. - Implement pricing, contracting, and tendering strategies in coordination with marketing and sales leadership.Channel Partner (SCP) Management- Support onboarding and enablement of SCPs aligned to the HCA business. - Drive regular business reviews with partners and track performance against targets. - Train SCPs on product knowledge, sales process, and compliance with Dräger guidelines. - Ensure timely demand forecasting, order booking, and secondary sales reporting.Customer Engagement- Maintain regular interaction with biomedical engineers, end-users, procurement departments, and hospital leadership to promote product usage and awareness. - Conduct product demos, training sessions, and after-sales support in collaboration with application and service teams. - Identify and escalate customer concerns and coordinate resolution in a timely manner.Cross-functional Collaboration- Work closely with service, marketing, and logistics teams to support end-to-end order execution. - Collaborate with tendering and regulatory teams for timely and compliant bid submissions. - Market Intelligence and Reporting - Track competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback. - Provide regular reports on opportunity pipeline, coverage activities, and market insights.EducationBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Pharmacy, or related fields.An MBA in Marketing/Sales is desirable but not mandatory.Related Experience5 years of experience in medical device or healthcare consumables sales.Exposure to channel management and working in a hybrid direct/indirect sales model.Skills, Special Competencies, or Certifications:Strong commercial acumen with understanding of hospital buying processes.Relationship-building skills with stakeholders at multiple levels.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) for opportunity and lead management.Self-driven, structured, and capable of operating independently.Ability to travel extensively within Kerala.
