Job Title: Web Engineering Manager (Sitecore, React, Node.js)Experience: 7 to 10 YearsLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Web Engineering Manager to lead a mid-sized, high-performing team of backend, frontend, and QA engineers. The ideal candidate has strong experience in modern web technologies, Sitecore CMS, and building large-scale distributed web platforms. This role requires a balance of technical leadership, people management, and the ability to drive long-term technology direction while ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery. You should be passionate about building exceptional engineering teams, creating modern user experiences, and solving complex problems with clarity and confidence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and mentor a blended team of backend, frontend and QA engineers.Participate directly in hands-on technical work and guide end-to-end feature development using Sitecore, React, and Node.js.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering and business teams.Champion the adoption and internal evangelization of the web framework including Sitecore and experimentation platforms.Define and drive long-term technical direction, architectural decisions, and technology strategy.Support hiring by partnering with recruiters to attract, interview, and onboard top engineering talent.Ensure high productivity, strong delivery standards, and smooth sprint planning and release execution.Improve engineering processes, tools, and infrastructure to enhance quality and efficiency.Make clear and timely decisions when requirements are ambiguous and help unblock the team.Produce reliable, scalable, and high-performance web services and platform components.Required Skills and Qualifications5 plus years of experience in software development with strong exposure to web platforms or full-stack engineering.2 plus years of experience managing software development teams and delivering large-scale distributed systems.Strong experience with modern technologies including .NET, Node.js, ReactJS, Azure Cloud Services, and Sitecore CMS or similar platforms.Deep understanding of performance tuning, scaling, and high availability for web applications and services.Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and grow engineers.Strong communication skills with the ability to work through ambiguity and make sound technical decisions.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
