The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, validating business workflows, supporting UAT and production environments, and collaborating closely with development and operations teams.This role requires hands-on testing, issue investigation, and coordination.Key Responsibilities Manual & Functional TestingPerform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testingUnderstand business requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test casesValidate end-to-end workflows across web and backend systemsAutomation & API TestingDevelop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium / Playwright / PytestPerform API testing using Postman/Rest AssuredExecute automated test suites and analyze failuresUAT & Production SupportSupport UAT activities with business and client teamsMonitor and troubleshoot production issuesPerform root cause analysis and coordinate fixes with developersHandle log analysis, data validation, and issue reproductionDatabase & Data ValidationWrite SQL queries to validate backend dataPerform ETL and data reconciliation testingValidate job executions and batch processesCollaboration & ReportingLog and track defects using JIRA / TrackerParticipate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews)Prepare daily status reports (DSR), test reports, and defect metricsRequired Skills & ExperienceMust-Have1-4 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer / QA EngineerStrong hands-on experience in manual testingExperience with automation testing tools (Selenium / Playwright / Pytest)API testing experience using Postman / Rest AssuredGood knowledge of SQL for data validationExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsGood-to-HaveExposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub)Experience with production support and monitoring tools (ELK, logs)Basic understanding of AWS servicesExperience in banking, logistics domainsTools & TechnologiesSelenium WebDriver, Playwright, PytestPostman, Rest Assured, JMeter (basic)SQL, ExcelJIRA, ALMGitHub / GitLabJenkins (execution-level knowledge)
