Job Title: OCI Network Engineer – Hybrid Cloud ConnectivityLocation: RemoteEngagement Type: FreelancingRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced OCI Network Engineer to lead Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) onboarding and hybrid connectivity initiatives. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, and high-performance network connectivity between customer on-premises environments and OCI.You will act as the primary technical interface for hybrid network architecture, ensuring reliable data flow, strong security controls, and optimal routing across environments.Key ResponsibilitiesOCI Networking & ArchitectureDesign and implement OCI networking components including VCNs, Subnets, DRGs, Internet Gateways, NAT Gateways, and Service Gateways.Support OCI onboarding activities and define network architecture aligned with best practices.Security & ComplianceConfigure and manage Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Security Lists.Implement secure network designs aligned with Zero Trust and enterprise security standards.Hybrid ConnectivityConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot Site-to-Site IPSec VPN and FastConnect connections.Ensure high availability, performance, and secure connectivity between On-Premises ↔ OCI environments.On-Premise IntegrationGuide and support customers in configuring Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) such as firewalls and routers.Work with vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent platforms.Routing & Traffic ManagementConfigure and manage dynamic routing (BGP) and static routing.Troubleshoot traffic flow issues for bidirectional communication between OCI and on-premise networks.Skills & QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Networking.In-depth knowledge of IPSec VPN, FastConnect, and BGP routing.Proven experience configuring enterprise network devices (CPE).Strong troubleshooting skills across hybrid cloud network environments.OCI Architect Associate / Professional or OCI Networking Certification is a strong plus.How to ApplyInterested candidates may share their CV at support@ or apply through linked in.
