Role OverviewThe Dermatologist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing skin, hair, and nail conditions. The role includes providing both medical and cosmetic dermatology services, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining clinical standards within the clinic or hospital.Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat dermatological conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, infections, allergies, and hair/nail disorders. - Perform skin assessments, procedures, and minor surgeries as required. - Provide cosmetic dermatology services such as chemical peels, laser treatments, PRP, microdermabrasion, scar reduction, and anti-aging procedures (if applicable). - Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and lifestyle recommendations to patients. - Conduct dermatoscopy and other dermatology-specific investigations. - Handle dermatology-related emergencies and provide timely clinical interventions. - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with clinical policies and NABH standards. - Communicate treatment plans effectively and counsel patients regarding preventive skin care and long-term management. - Work collaboratively with nursing staff, cosmetologists, and other medical departments. - Participate in clinical meetings, training, and continuous medical education programs.
