Team Lead – Loss Mitigation Responsibilities:-• Possess an end-to-end (E2E) understanding of the Default Servicing cycle within US Mortgage Loan Operations.• Strong knowledge of the Underwriting and Closing processes in Loss Mitigation.• Capable of reviewing and performing quality checks on Loss Mitigation (LM) and Underwriting (UW) files.• Ability to work across various loan divisions such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA, and Asset Loans.• Skilled in performing income calculations (Pay stubs, Self-employment, Rental Income, Pension/SSI) based on guidelines and Mortgage Application Assistance hardship requirements during the underwriting process.• In-depth knowledge of Listing Agreements, HUD-1 Settlement Statements, Purchase Contracts, Divorce/Separation Agreements, Quit Claim Deeds, LOE, POE, and Child Support documentation.• Comprehensive understanding of the loan default cycle.• Knowledge of DTI, CLTV, and HCLTV calculations.• Familiarity with Forbearance, Forbearance Extensions, and Extension of Forbearance processes.• Strong attention to detail with a perfection-driven approach to Quality Control (QC).• End-to-end knowledge of closing procedures, including loan mitigation closing.• Experience working with and managing checklists.• Proven experience in team handling, including overseeing daily operations, mentoring team members, monitoring productivity, ensuring compliance to guidelines, and driving performance targets.• Ability to lead and guide a team in Loss Mitigation to achieve accuracy, SLA adherence, and operational excellence.
