Review financial statements and identify tax implications. Maintain accurate workpapers and documentation supporting tax positions. Stay up-to-date with ATO rulings, legislative changes, and compliance deadlines. Identify and assess Division 7A exposure in private company structures. Prepare and manage Division 7A loan agreements, including minimum yearly repayments. Prepare annual FBT returns and calculate FBT liabilities. Calculate capital gains and losses for individuals, trusts, and companies. Review transactions involving shares, property, crypto, business assets, and restructures. Determine availability of general CGT discount and eligibility of CGT Exemptions etc.
