We're hiring for one our clients based out of Bangalore. They are India’s first Active-Ageing & Senior Wellbeing company that helps adults aged 55+ live healthier, happier, safer, and more connected lives. Raised $20M in seed funding.As their UI/UX Designer, you will play a foundational role in defining how this audience experiences technology — making it intuitive, empowering, and delightful. This is an opportunity to shape a category, design for an underserved yet powerful demographic, and build a 0 to 1 consumer product with real social impact.You’ll work closely with founders and a lean product & engineering team in a high-ownership, fast-moving environment where design decisions directly shape the product and the business.What You’ll Do-Own end-to-end product design across mobile and web — from user research and journey mapping to wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.Design accessible, intuitive experiences tailored specifically for non-tech-savvy and 50+ users, reducing cognitive load and building confidence through clarity.Translate complex user needs and business goals into simple, elegant design solutions.Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and data insights to inform design decisions.Collaborate closely with founders, product managers, and engineers to shape product vision, priorities, and execution.Play a key role in building a 0→1 consumer platform, setting strong design foundations and systems early.Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback, metrics, and real user behavior.Who We’re Looking For-A strong end-to-end product designer with hands-on experience across UX research, IA, flows, UI, and prototyping.Someone who thrives in early-stage, ambiguous environments and enjoys building from scratch.Deep empathy for users — especially those who may not be digitally native — and the ability to design with accessibility at the core.Comfortable working closely with founders and senior stakeholders, taking ownership without heavy hand-holding.Ability to balance user experience with business objectives, making practical, outcome-driven design decisions.Clear communicator who can articulate design rationale backed by research, data, and user insights.What Makes This Role Special-You’ll design for a high-impact, high-potential demographic that most consumer tech ignores.You’ll be part of a mission-driven startup where design is a core differentiator, not an afterthought.You’ll have real ownership and visibility, with your work directly influencing product direction and growth.Early-team opportunity with significant scope for growth as the company scales.
