We believe in making one small change(atomic) at a time so that the cumulative effect of all the changes delivers massive impact.The RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Technical Databricks Projects Delivery Leader to lead our deliveryoperations in India. In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale Databricks projects, from scoping and pre-sales support through solutioning, deliveryexecution, customer success and practice expansion. You will work across multiple customers,act as the technical lead and program manager, and ensure delivery excellence, profitabilityand customer delight. You will join a high velocity team, have autonomy to make decisions, andshape how we execute and scale our Databricks practice out of India.What you will be doing● Lead and manage the delivery of multiple concurrent Databricks engagements(migration, modernization, analytics, Lakehouse) in India and across geographies.● Engage in project scoping, estimation, solution architecture review, and transition fromsales/offer stage to delivery.● Define delivery approach, governance, milestones, risk mitigation strategies, and qualityassurance for each project.● Act as the technical & program lead: align solution design with Databricks best practices,oversee data engineering and data platform teams, ensure scalable and performantarchitectures.● Manage project financials: track revenue, margins, utilization, forecasting, billing andinvoicing for engagements delivered out of India.● Build and sustain strong customer relationships at executive and delivery levels: ensurecustomer expectations are met or exceeded, drive incremental value, handleescalations.● Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams, build delivery-ready frameworks,accelerators, reusable components, internal tooling to increase efficiency and margin.● Mentor and grow a delivery team in India: hire, coach, upskill, promote, and embed aculture of excellence, continuous improvement and accountability.● Contribute to practice growth: help identify business development opportunities,support pre-sales conversations with technical input, align with global practice strategyfor Databricks.● Drive thought leadership: organize/lead internal knowledge-sharing, define bestpractices for Databricks migrations, speak at customer/industry events, contribute tointernal IP.The skills & experience you will bringMust-haves:● 10+ years of experience in delivering large scale data platforms or analyticsprograms, ideally with 5+ years leading data engineering/modernization/deliveries ina cloud/Databricks environment.● Hands-on technical understanding of Databricks (Lakehouse architecture, Spark, DeltaLake, Streaming/Batch pipelines), plus experience in at least one major cloud (AWS,Azure or GCP).● Strong program/project management skills: able to manage multiple streams, definegovernance, mitigate risk, ensure quality and track metrics.● Excellent customer-facing skills: able to engage with C-suite/VPs, translate technicalissues into business implications, manage escalations, ensure stakeholder satisfaction.● Team leadership & people development: hiring, mentoring, building high-performanceteams, especially in India.● Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English; comfortable working in aglobal delivery context.● Consulting mindset: flexible, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated,comfortable with ambiguity and change.Preferred:● Experience with migrations from legacy platforms (Teradata, Oracle, Talend,Informatica) to Databricks.● Certifications in Databricks.● Experience building reusable frameworks/accelerators and internal IP for dataplatforms.● Prior experience working in services/consulting organization or data-modernizationpractice.● Familiarity with the India delivery ecosystem, working with offshore teams, managingdelivery from India, building India-based operations.What we offer● Excellent compensation, including performance-based bonuses and benefits (adaptedfor India region).● Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies (Databricks) and with globalFortune 500 customers.● A global, collaborative team environment with high autonomy and influence.Opportunity to shape our delivery operations out of India.● Career growth and leadership path: you will lead a team, scale operations, and evolveinto senior leadership in our global practice.● Training & certifications on Databricks and adjacent technologies, plus opportunities forthought leadership (blogs, conferences).● A culture of change, impact and growth: we value making the atomic change thataccumulates into huge impact.How to apply:If you are passionate about leading complex data and AI platform delivery, driving excellenceand growth in India, and helping us build one of the most impactful Databricks practices in theindustry, we’d love to hear from you.
